Hmm, that's like total opposite of me. I remember the day my dad got his (my current) 626, but I don't remember his other 626 before that. My mom had an 89 Accord until she got a Millenia in 99, and now a Prius in 09. I guess we did have a 92 Ford Econoline van, but the first real domestic I guess was when my dad bought his Freestyle in 05. My grandpa is a mech engineer and had an FB RX7, and early 90's Sentra (I'm guessing 13B, I don't remember it) and a 90's Maxima, and now a Prius. Muscle does not run in my family.
It depends so much on how you're raised, I think. I guess I got raised thinking that hillbillies drive domestics, and even to this day I associate v8's with low intelligence. (shrug) I guess that's something I'll have to work past.
Now, forced fours on the other hand, oohhh that makes me tingle inside. When that 240 launched down Main St. I about fell on my knees. It seriously brought tears to my eyes and I was giggling like a little girl. The other guys with their v8's and whatever had been burning out and stuff, just being loud in general, but he put them all to shame beyond recovery. Plus I'm a 240fag so I'm a bit biased..
You'll definitely get a good dose of muscle, and race fuel, if you go.
