What have you done to your P5 today?

It depends what time I come home tonight from a grad party...lol It starts at 4 so hopefully I can make it...lol

well i work tonight... if you not going i not going...

today i measured the clearance between the inside friction surface of my rotors to the ball joint... i got 32mm rotors to install and i'm seeing if there is enough clearance to do the upgrade... my current rotors are only 22mm thick

did the best measurement i could... will be cutting it pretty close

808 I'm getting a terrible clunk from the front passenger side when I'm taking a left turn and over certain bump. When I go over bumps while taking a right turn, it doesn't clunk. It feels like something is just loose like a joint or something but I have no idea where. Any idea?

put on my team protege5 stickers and hellaflush and mayday garage stickers

Did you check your endlinks? or even your sway bar bushings?

If you lift the front of the car, grab the tire from 12 and 6 position and push and pull if you hear a noise then its your ball joints

nothing... i ordered new rotors and pads and they sent me the upgraded rotors cuz my current kit is discontinued... it's either send the upgraded rotors back and wait for new custom made rotors or upgrade my existing kit... Daryl at revolutionbrakes.com is going to send me the upgrade kit free of charge. it will include all the necessary hardware needed for the upgrade

thicker rotors = better heat transfer = better braking

if everything works out... then i could sell a partial kit... all you would need is dynalite or superlite wilwood calipers with a .044" spacer and a rotor hat. if not i'm going to see if i can get a rear bbk

or it could be your front tie bar bolts being loose... when i had play in mine that's what it turned out to be... tightened them up and no more play

This past week I:
Blacked out tails & side markers
Painted the bottom lip on the rear bumper
Cleaned and painted the rims glossy black and painted the calipers orange.
Added my DC shoes viynl on the rear window

...and hung up a soccer ball off my rear view mirror LOL..
Pics soon to come.

So I've decided I hate how loud my car is on the inside. Whats a few ideas to make the ride more quite ( I got new tires which helped some but not enough). Is that Rubberdized rattle can s*** worth a try they sell at auto stores? just hit the whole bottom of my car and most of the engine bay? or....?

If youve got some cash and some time to tear the interior out, dynamat the doors, floor, roof, should help big time but hit the wallet big time as well ...

ya I heard about the home depot rolls that he found and used... but that sounds like a hell of a lot of work. Im not sure I would be able to take out carpet and put it back in well enough to my liking )^; My front doors, hatch, and some of my hatch area is dynomatted very well.... and that costed a handsome price so to do more would be overkill for my wallet

Yea I finally got all the rattles down to a minimum but now you can just hear the road noise alot better. The new sound system would solve this problem.... but sometimes you just want quite

I would try retorque any bolts that are connected to where the front tie bar goes also try retorquing where the 4pt bar goes. If that doesn't solve anything then I'm not to sure what it could be.
