What have you done to your P5 today?

Cleaned out the EGR (damn bolts are hard to get to with a socket!) and reset the ECM. After a quick test drive, it seems to have fixed the momentary pinging that I would hear in the transition from off-throttle to on. I'm massively relieved that the pinging was nothing serious. (thumb)

The card isn't turned in until you find yourself fighting with the other one over hoe to decorate the nursery and/or picking out the crib and stroller... Something that I've been doing for the past 2 months.

Gonna install my A-pillar gauge pod and wire it all...yeah, this has sh*tshow written all over it as I've never done anything like this before...lol.

And as much as I absolutely am going to hate doing it, the Corksport Exhaust hangers need to go on today...can't stand the bouncing against my rear valence anymore.

I also have to re-grease the strut mount top hats, tie rods, and any link to the front suspension so it finally stops squeaking when I turn at low speeds.

Have to get my hands on an Optima Red Top battery as my last battery test showed I was pulling in less than 500 CCAs...not gonna fly in these canadian winters...lol.

Then IF...BIG IF...that all goes smoothly and I don't feel like selling my car at the end of the day, finally sanding and polishing those headlights.

Patience is key with both of those projects, young grasshoppa. I can't help ya with the gauge since I've never done any gauge wiring but it shouldn't be anything you can't handle. And the exhaust hangers aren't too bad. I've got some and had to take them on/off about 6 times since I've had them. Just use lots of PB Blaster or WD-40 on the hangers and they will slide right on. And you won't miss that annoying rumble of the muffler on your bumper. (2thumbs)

Best place for Optima batteries around here is Walmart. Never had a problem exchanging a dead one for a new one yet, and i never bought my battery there....

I haven't done anything to my P5 for a while now since I totalled it in April, but today my parents called from vacation to tell me they bought a really clean bone stock gray MSP. It's in Colorado so i've got to wait a couple weeks until it gets shipped here but I can't ****** wait i'm so excited for boost (even at 7 psi). Apparently it has lights inside that will be the first thing I pull out (hope there aren't too many holes in the plastic) and seat covers so the seats are practically new, and new bridgestones.
I found the link for the listing.

Theres also a strange similarity, the current owner is named Ryan, which is my name and he turns 20 on 7-20, I just turned 20 on 7-02.

Your parents never bought you your first car? I go to school full time and can't afford to work enough to buy my own car so my parents provided me with one of theirs. The P5 was their car, MY truck was cash4clunkered and they gave me the P5. When the car was wrecked they got the insurance check and I chose the car. Thanks for being happy for me.
