What have you done to your MS3 today?

Hopefully he takes good care of her. How's the Z treating you in the meantime?

I'm loving it!
Just put some H&R spacers on the rear today and the Fast Intentions exhaust is pure sexx! It's also causing me to have bad fuel economy because I have to make music everywhere I go.
It feels good to be pushed from behind again with a RWD car. (drive2)

Washed, claybar'd and waxed... by hand... man i need to get an orbital polisher (unamused)

That video is comical in a way I can't explain. :D Exhaust sounds great though!

I upgraded my horn yesterday to high + low Freeway Blasters. Was a pain in the ass, but at least my car doesn't sound like a vagina fart when I want people to move anymore.

Parked my MS3 in the garage for a while so I can drive my Supra. (Supra's been out of commission with an electrical fault for a month, and was in the shop for maintenance items for a month before that)

I was going to wash her before parking her, but it rained all freaking day here.

Today I installed my Flat Black E4 shift knob, and deleted those pesky door moldings!
The moldings were so easy, just lift away from the car and pull, then I took her to a spray wash to get the residue off. Really happy with the results of both modifications! Here's some pics,

installed hydraulic hood props and deleted the manual prop.

Parked it in the grass along the side of a country road while I went fishing on a stream. First time doing it with the MS3.

Made me a little nervous. I never really worried much when it was my crappy old '99 protege parked out there. :D

Also filled up for the first time since installing the CAI. Got almost 24 MPG that tank compared to the consistent 20-21 I had been getting before. Pretty sure I have been driving it harder since installing the CAI.

How did you go about installing it? WHich instructions did you use (if any)?

I bought a low tone horn but haven't put it on yet. I assume you just took off the plastic below and installed from underneath without removing the bumper. It looked pretty tight in there when I was working on installing my CAI so I'm not looking forward to working on the horn. Probably why I haven't done it yet.

I finally got my service stuff done at the dealer so I put my cpe sri back on. Also repainted my badges since some rocks decided to chip them up. Now I'm trying to decided if I want to do the resonator delete mod and most likely void my warranty or not. Grrrrrr... what to do what to do lol.

What company makes the hood props?

they're parts plaza hood props. just your basic props. reason i got them is because they are very affordable and require no drilling or rivet guns. they just bolt right on. so far so good!

Thanks! Those will probably be my next purchase.

Wasn't aware that there were rivetless hood props avail. Good to know. Are these specific to the MS3 or for the Mazda3? The speed hood is heavier is why I ask.

Can't seem to figure out why whenever I hit a bump that affects both wheels at the same time, the front end pops real loud under impact and the rear end pops even louder (thinking it's something to do with the Cobb RSB, but everything is tightened down!)
