Any photographers in here?

Wait so your saying you usually uses a point and shoot???? wtf!

Correct. All photos before 2010 were with my PNS. That is why I need to make a new Photo Gallery. This is the old one, PNS work. http://www.altspace.com/photography

A couple samples using the ol' PNS for motorsports.

God I love this camera and lens. Just a quick snapshot of my kitty at ISO 5000. No noise reduction, sharpening.. only a conversion to black and white. :)

Ditto. I shoot ISO 6400 on the 5D MKII and don't think twice about it. I'll never need a tripod at indoor car shows.

I missed the main part of the panning discussion, but here's one of my better ones, I've learned SO much since then:

no, it's a booty cam. Take photos of hot girls as they walk away from your vehicle.

Girls don't walk away from that car..

Maybe you can use it for some sneaky shots of the model posing on the trunk.. junk in the trunk? too much?

Sweet picture. Any suggestions on taking shots of fireworks? I know to use a tripod, low ISO (100?), and obviously no flash.

I have 2-3 nights of opportunities coming up.

1 second exposure is about right. And either use the timer or a cable release.

Here are a few more from last night. Trying something new.

I predict there will be lotsa fireworks pics in this thread the next couple of days hehe.

I was cropping them close because last year, I saw this guy, he did the same thing. His prints were amazing. There were pictures of recognizable objects within the fireworks. We could see things like origami cranes, a guitar, even Elvis. It was crazy.
