Any photographers in here?

Rice?? i dunno man, id take either of those motors.. remember older style means assloads of chrome and flames.. totally normal looking to me for the vehicles pictured, both of those so called domestic rice cars are fully functional from what it looks like, the owners just take care of the car more then the first picture owner does.. you know how much cleaning they have to do to keep the chrome looking that good.. tons!!!!!

love the gearset pic.

100% crop from a couple days ago. Very happy with it from a $150 lens.

Rice!?

OMG you should have heard it. FYI - It's a full blown drag car. The Newport Concours d'Elegance does not allow rice into their show.

LOL!!! I guess my point is there's something awesome about a gritty workhorse of a race-car. I'm not talking about a cobbled together jalopy, but the great thing about the pic Vocko posted is there's dirt where there should be, and none where there shouldn't... Those "show" drag cars do nothing for me personally...

I appreciate both styles.

Erm.....The trees are a little too...there!! as compared to the very washed out and dull background.

To be honest It does not look like a HDR at all. Which I normally like, but not in this case.

Try going back into photoshop with each different exposure and touching up places to make it more balanced.

drove home in a sweet thunderstorm with tons of lightning, got home and set up the tripod and only got a couple shots. oh well
