What have you done to your P5 today?

Just get 4-6 3" flanges and 10' of 3" 16 or 18 ga tube.

I would suggest a flex pipe between the first flange an the first hangers.
Ill see if I can draw up the design that I'm going to use

You might want to get some mandrel bends from atpturbo.com or similar because that pipe bender is going to pinch the 3" piping down below 2.5" on a near 90 degree bend.

im not going to use alot of flanges, i think im only going to use 2 or 3, doubt ill need a flex pipe since the exhaust hangers alow for a s*** ton of movement anyways..i might just buy mandrel bends and straight pipe and weld them together, much easier

oh and btw, tightening the screw did absolutely nothing, car still goes, rich lean rich lean rich lean then normal while cruising at around 50
and the car still has a high idle when i start it from warm, this thing is really starting to piss me off

I wish you best of luck, but as I have always said...you are one of the main reasons I have not gone boosted...it isn't worth it IMO...

HELP HELP HELP
About to order parts for a timing belt and water pump change. What parts do I need besides the actual water pump and timing belt? Thanks for the help!

i mean my car drives fine, its just the little stuff that gets to me, i want it to run perfect and it hasnt yet

edit: and youll need the water pump gasket, new belts while your in there wouldnt hurt, new tensioner spring, new timing belt, new water pump, and thats about it...
replacing the thermostat at the same time would be good too

Nah, that won't be necessary. Here's a list I compiles sometime ago on what I'll be replacing when I do mine. *

*I've been told that there is no need to replace the camshaft and crankshaft seals. I've also been told that you don't need to replace the rollers but seeing that the bearings could freeze I'll spend the extra up front so I don't have to tear it down again (rollers are approx $180 or so for OEM).

Lastly, I'd suggest going OEM. I've heard a lot of people have issues with aftermarket water pumps, specifically, for the P5.

Timing Belt
Idler Roller
Tensioner Roller
Tensioner Spring
Water Pump
Water Pump Gasket
Camshaft Seal
Crankshaft Seal
AC/PS Belt
Alternator Belt
Tension Adjustment Bolt For Altenator - 997950880
Spacer for Tension Adjustment Bolt - FP0118363
Valve Cover Gasket -

my car had a bad idle for awhile. I just ran better gas (91), checked with vacuum lines, and drove it hard for 500 miles... it fixed it self (^: It still runs lean but I think its only because of the headers (I have nonfouler but doesnt seem to work, also a giant crack in headers hehe)
