power steering problems! help?

I have a 2002 P5.

The power steering has been crapping out on me.

Im a newb to cars and especially to p5s. I checked the power steering fluid and it looks fine. Beyond that I have no idea what to do.

One of my friends suggested I check the power steering fuse?

Anyone ever have power steering problems on their P5 and want to share some wisdom? PLEASE help.

ok.. they're easy as hell to replace.. but if you're having issues.. what's it doing?? if when you turn the wheel, do you hear a noise? like a starving ps pump? squeeling belts?

hey i have a problem with my 2000ES every time when the car is idling and i start turning the steering wheel both sides the RPMs drops down a lot and sometimes i think the engine is about to shut off, do u have any idea about this issue... thank u

all of them do that. it's normal.

i dont know because my friend has the same car and when i do the same thing on his car the RPMs goes up instead of drop down
