Are they the same? I found some on Ebay that I want to order w/ the side blinker but it says they're for a Protege - just want to make sure they're the same before I order!!(ugh)

yes they are the same. as for fitment its not that bad. held me over till i got oem.
i know but they have to many wires and they dont match up to the facotry set up you have to cut and splice allot and to many wires imo ...just go with oem and plug and play setup much easier imo

I have OEM black mirrors if you are interested...switching very soon to the OEM yellow ones...getting a puddle lamp installed in them right now, but once we are done the black ones are off and going up FS...

they are the biggest pain ,trust me they look great just imo its not worth the hassle and trust me from ebay those suck ,just get the ones from Scratch

Thanks - my hardheadedness tells me to get the one with the blinkers even if they're a pain - but my senses tell me to listen to you...just have to figure out which one will win LOL
But really - I need to know if the protege side mirrors will fit on the P5, because that will determine it all since I can't find mirrors with blinkers that specifically say "Protege5" they all say Protege...

The ones I am putting on are P5 mirrors, but there is no difference in P5 and MSP...

MSP are fully colormatched and the ES/P5 mirrors have just the front colormatched. You never noticed that?

I actually never knew that...lol...I had ordered once what was advertised as MSP mirrors, but they must have been P5...the ones I am replacing though are all black DX ones...
I love that car. (2thumbs)

That looks nice! My only problem is that when I bought my P5 either the lady that owned it before me or the dealer took the clear coat off of several different parts of my car...and then I got in a wreck in 2006 and had my front end completely replaced. So my car is all different shades of yellow! LOL I'm going to get some quotes this weekend to see what I can do about getting it all back to one color!
