HDR made with photomatix, cropped, and cloned out the watermarks in photoshop.

Here is a different version of your pic... was bored lol... great pic though, i like the location.

idea of HDR is to have good exposure of the whole pic... your version is badly underexposed. for effect its kinda cool, but defeats the point IMO.

As for the location, thats where she sleeps. lol

yeah, wasn't trying to do another HDR... just wanted to see what it looked like a bit darker.

Here is one of my attempts at an HDR

Agreed, but you hdr is horribly washed out and has very little contrast. Looks like you need to reduce the gamma some. Just an FYI Photoshop sucks at HDR (only CS5 does it well)

Was that built from one image?

My latest HDR.

built from three exposures, seperated by one Fstop. I didn't use PS to do the HDR. its definitely not perfect I'll admit, but I wanted to see what HDR could do for that location given the lighting down there sucks balls. compared to what I've gotten using a single exposure in the same location its a vast improvement, but better lighting would instantly make for a better pic.

Not at all. One thing I've learned about being a photographer, you don't care what others think. You do what you have to do for the shot no matter what.
