What have you done to your MSP today?

Cleaned her up real gooooood last night with the assistance of my dad and big bro. I will try to snap some pics later if I find the camera. Washed, buffed, and waxed :) ...boy she really needed it lol.

well, today, and currently I am trying to strip most of the paint from my calipers so I can repaint them sunset orange metallic (closest paint match I could get to spicy orange, since it's a tricoat) but found that the front right caliper is not stock, I asked slug420 who I bought the car from before, and he said that the shop had reworked it/ or I guess replaced it or something, but either way it's not stock and I found while trying to get an alen key to fit into the bottom caliper bolt (the one that you would take off to change the breaks) and I found that it is smaller than stock.. the thread fits, and the thread is a little smaller than stock..the problem is that the center of the caliper moves a little bit, it is not solid like the rest of them, so I need a caliper bolt that has the same size head as the stock caliper but with the thread of the 7mm caliper bolt that is in there now.. so that it does not move anymore..

I could replace the caliper with the stock one I have.. but right now I don't think I'd be able to get all of that done well before I have to drive back to school sunday, I have to much other stuff to do..

so my that is what I have done today..and will be replacing the blown HID foglight a little later too, but quick question, does anyone know if anyone has seen or know if I will be able to find relatively easily hopefully a bolt that will fit with 7mm thread but with a thicker , I think 1.4" head.. just so that the middle part is solid.. and since it has been driven like that for a couple years, I am guessing that the middle part not being completely solid is ok kinda?.. it only moves like 1mm if I had to guess, and I guess for now I could also see if I can find some grommet/sleeve rubber piece that will hold that smaller bolt in there more snug.. so overall I'm having another usual "fun" time working on the msp lol,(bang) just hope the caliper paint comes out like I think it will

Got the 2 missing ball screws for my hood dampers and got them put on tonight! Just in time for the car show :) but my damn valve cover is still not on :( so that really looks like s***.

well, after talking to a guy at Levines auto and they couldn't find any caliper bolts that were a little bigger, I have decided that to be safe so my caliper will finally be fixed, is to just replace the caliper with my stock one.. so.. paint till hold off till wed when I finish classes, unless I can do the caliper switch soon, but I dono,

anyone that has switched a caliper before, I can just switch the caliper and brake pads (the ones that are in the caliper that is on the car now, they are the good ones) I can just switch them all over, and re-bleed everything right?
-well off to have some fun changing the calipers lol, I just hope those endlinks come off nicely this time..(I dono why I thought I needed to take the endlinks off lol.. have a lot going through my head I guess...)

just put my front Tein S Techs on today, will do the rears later or when I get a new set of struts. I may not be in the exact same position in the driveway to get an accurate comparision, but you get the picture.
