What have you done to your MS3 today?

the fronts weigh 20.6 lbs each and the rears weigh 9.2 lbs each. the pads that came with the combo are stoptech posi-quiet. im not sure if im going to actually use them or invest in some hawk pads.

Got the honda plug for my rear windshield wiper, ordered muteki black extended open ended lugs, and OEM mazda rear bumper guards. Just a few more pieces to bring the car together!

retorqued the bolts on my CP-E front MM after a few days of driving. damn, what a nice piece for the MS3! also installed a progress rear sway bar. hoping to test it out soon...

ended up getting the 75 duro insert.... how hard is yours? it's more the hardness of the insert than the mount itself that causes the vibrations. at 75 durometer i only noticed the vibes at idle while the car is stopped, mostly in the steering wheel. it has already mellowed out after maybe 100 miles of driving. vibes are still there but hardly noticeable at this point. shifting, acceleration, and overall feeling is more solid over stock. but one odd little thing is that i need to give it more gas when starting from a standstill, otherwise it feels like it wants to stall. any one get this?

Do you feel it when accelerating at low RPMs in 1st? Thats really when I get the bad vibes. And yes, I don't really notice the feeling of stalling, but my friend says something to me every time he's in the car...

under acceleration all i feel is ******* hard core awesomeness! it's really just standing still at idle that i feel any vibrations. even coasting in neutral there are no vibes.

i have the stiffest cpe mount and I know exactly what you mean about the stall feeling. you either have to give it hella gas or your gonna get your brain rattled for a second lol. but once your going its pure smoothness

i have the 75 duro cpe, and have driven another ms3 with the trz. the trz transfers a LOT more vibes to the cabin

I re-torqued my TRZ dogbone and tightened up a few things in the interior, and my vibes are close to none now. Night and day difference. Regardless, RMM on the MS3 is one of the best simple upgrades.

What did you tighten up in the interior and how?

behind the glove box, and kick panel beside the gas pedal. I put a thin t-shirt underneath kick panel and tucked it under the carpet and bolted panel back in. walaa! no more squeaking/rattling. Also, my glove box rattled like a MF, so I took the glove box out, and noticed the air contraption behind it that's just dangling there. I placed cardboard between it and the piece its next to, then used zip ties around it and pulled it snug and secure. Before it was flimsy and would move, now it's not going anywhere. Solid as a rock! That's where my rattles were coming from. Every car is different, though.

Officially decided to buy a CP-e RMM (75 duro). I'm getting sick of all the vibes from the TRZ.

Fill your stock one with epoxy. I did that when I got sick of the vibes from the Medieval mount. Literally the only vibes I get are occasionally when I am in reverse backing out of my driveway. It works well, I would say its a step higher than the corksport inserts but a step below the full replacements in terms of engine movement. And its exactly like stock in comfort.

$5 to try before you buy the CP-E

I love my TRZ. The vibes come with the territory. They let me know that the motor isn't moving about sloppily and I have yet to miss a 2-3 WOT shift. Makes driving smoother and only vibes starting in first. Oh and it lets more noise into the cabin, which I love.
