3rd Annual Pittsburgh Mazda Dyno Day, April 17th

My girlfriend and I would like to attend. Is there a way to check AFRs? I do not have a wideband, and I am more interested in the AFRs than the HP on my MSP. Does someone have a wideband I could use at this event?

I dont know for sure if ost got the 5 gas reader but I remember last year the guy saying he was planning on buying the sniffer for the dyno to read the afr's. If ost doesnt have one then i can get you hooked up with a dyno thats very close to this one that does have the 5 gas reader

If they don't have a sniffer, maybe someone going has a wideband sensor that I can install and remove there.
The MSP exhaust has a an extra threaded port for another o2 sensor. There is a cap installed on it right now which is easily removed.

We do have a wideband and MAP sensor. As long as you have an extra O2 bung we can take an O2 reading for an extra $10. We do not use a sniffer because of the inaccurate readings.

I think 10am? and guys Im getting pretty excited about sat. I mean I know my car isnt running to great and I probly wont hit high numbers but its kinda like the first even of this summer, kinda marking the start of the summer. my winter tires are coming off friday and that means it will not snow again... and its on to car shows and events and all that good stuff!!!!!!!!!

Kevin, Phen, Anthony, Trevor and Marlon (aka; OH cats), lets meet at my place 7:00am-ish, leave at 7:30am and head to the Krispe Kreme meeting spot in PA via 76east Turnpike to be there at 9:00am. Is that cool with you guys? ps- don't forget toll money. And Kevin, try to keep up this time...(lol2)

oh, and it's my fault that you sold me 14" wheels that won't go over 85 otherwise the car will start shaking?!?! :p hahahahaha

besides, it's not worth the 10 extra minutes ya save to risk getting a ticket (and you get worse mpg)

...but i might just drive straight over on route 30 instead, mostly so i wouldn't have to go so far north just to go down south again; but i was looking on the gmaps and it actually said going up to your place then over was only about 10 miles difference and was quicker too... i'm guessing mostly because the interstates are made quite a bit straighter than old route 30 (that curvy bastard!) and the speed limits are a lot higher too with no stops either...

alright, i kinda convinced myself by typing this out that i'll come and meet with you guys and caravan over! (cool)

Hahaha! You make it sound like I totally scammed you. 14" wheels with new Falken rubber for $250 is a good deal. So there. Caravans are fun and I won't drive nearly as fast as I did last time. I just didn't want to be late and miss any runs at Mid-Ohio. We'll do 75mph tops. See ya saturday morning or friday night!

So... I may be heading down there on Friday. I was invited (as well as dockers boy) to go out with a friend who just regained her freedom on Friday night. Still up in the air though. Just a heads up.

so what time do the festivities begin? doesnt exactly say in the first post.

i was kinda wondering that too? and what time is it going on until?

we will be getting to the shop around 10am... hopefully the first car is on the dyno by 10:30 haha

as far as what time its over, that ultimately depends on how quickly we want to get cars on and off the dyno... years past we took our time and we finished up around 6ish

and i'll let you know when i'll be up soon.

....oh yeah... FIRST ON DYNO DIBS!!! CALLED IT!!! (laugh) naww, i don't really care, whom ever is ready first can go!

Levi,
Thanks for organizing this event and using our facility. We look forward to having some new folks visit this year. Coffee and donuts will be waiting!

Just a few notes:
1. I will place an orange cone at the top of the drive to make our place easier to find.

2. If someone gets lost please call (724) 368-9000 rather than go to a neighbor's house and ask where there's a "dyno shop" around.

3. If possible please have the guys going last on the dyno drive up the driveway first. It will make the parking situation easier.

Thanks and we look forward to Saturday!
Mike

Mike,

Have you had any experience with the Hydra Nemesis? If yes, I may requisition some tuning from you at a later time. If not, no worries.
