Very well said.

ok since there are some products done, as shown in these pictures posted, althought the date isnt right.. Brice all you basically have to do is take another set of pictures of the products previously shown with a piece of paper that says Race Roots on it and 4/7/2010 or whatever just like we do in the normal F/S section, and alot of the non believers would shut up. that would also calm down this thread as well..
I fail to understand, still to this point, how all of these guys who have never even spoken to Brice once are the ones to get all fired up about this. Is it really necessary to sit here and namecall and bash the way a forum is run, if you're not even remotely involved in the situation?
For now, I'm just going to try to keep my mouth shut in this thread and the one on MSF, because there are some misunderstandings of what I'm trying to do here. I'll wait until I talk to Antoine and try to work something out. I just don't want anyone to get ripped off, not that I believe they will, and if something does happen I'm willing to help anyone out who falls victim if they can't make their car payments.
I completely agree. Brice, it's that simple.
Are you 2 serious! yeah the date thing is irrelavent but honestly you find a few pics without any connection to our kits some sort of progress? After so much time and this is all they have to offer! It was supose to have been completed 10 days ago acording to Brice but yet these picture show completion to be much further way from being done and shipped. I can have a local shop *** a whole turbo kit in a week! If race roots really wanted to do the right thing they would issue a full refund to all their disatified customers. Insteed they choose to not take resposibility for their actions and blame it on the production company, which has nothing to do with us the costumers or is the production company responsibloe for my parts or refund? Answer me that!
And what's with the silence from the OP? It's been well over a month and no word on the Speed 6? Can the OP step in and post on her situation too?
Just to clarify, is Steve someone affiliated with RR? I'm aware of Brice only.
Sure I can, lol.
I email/call Steve all the time and get updates on my car.
Are you referring to me? I have no connection to RR whatsoever.
Trying to clarify her statement of talking to Steve. Is that you? Are you checking on the car to see that they are actually working on it?
Just to clarify, is Steve someone affiliated with RR? I'm aware of Brice only.
Good luck with it all. Seems like they are doing with your car what they should have tried to do in the first place instead of how business was supposedly handled.
admittedly i have missed out on the last few pages of this project...
but any news on achieved numbers? or current updates on the work being done?
Maybe you should just go ahead and read them...
Here's my take on this, since I haven't posted in here in a while:
First off, there is too much to chance with this whole ordeal to just cut ties and be done. That's not going to do any one here any service, other than make some of the MSF guys happy. I've been reading this on both forums, and I don't disagree with what happened over there, but, as a moderator over here, we can only make suggestions and present info as we find it.
If we cut ties with RR, then guys like NJ, madvillan, and others don't have another avenue for communication. Should the 11th pass and no updates, I certainly hope that the admins re-evaluate this and reconsider their status.
I have yet to hear across multiple forums anyone who's had a problem with any other order besides the turbo kits. From what I've found, it sounds like the brake pads/lines, and other parts from their online store are shipped in a timely manner, much like companies like Corksport and SU. Personally, I feel that if that falls apart (and I am concerned) then we have another huge problem, and at that point a ban is definitely warranted.
Regarding the pictures...Brice, given the position that you're in with this stuff, I think that to restore more confidence in everyone, you should take a pic with the proper signage that we use for our for sale transactions. It would be a gesture of good faith, and would carry. I find it really odd that your camera is off, and it just stains your rep even more, even if it is an honest mistake. If you've got a few minutes, take the proper pic, post it up, and people can put an end to that discussion.
Again, my personal opinion on this is that for the time being, the community suspends the AV title for RR until the investigation is complete and some closure is found with the turbo kit situation. In my discussions with Brice, I don't know how much longer he plans on staying involved with the MS community, so that concerns me a bit. There's nothing yet to warrant a ban, and the issue was brought to our attention by several members who frequent this site, and those who also don't care for it, and for that I (and other mods) thank you for it. I don't truly know if this would have been brought to the forefront without the communication.
