fess up...whose is it?

went to get a cabin air filter from the local ms dealer and the parts guy and i started talking about whatever. so finally i started asking what the ms3's were coming in for (smoking turbo, mm, stereo, you know all the s*** i read about on here that i have not experienced) and he told me no, the ones that come in are the ones that mod and/or do some sort of driving error

so i agreed about the mods messing things up and told him all i had in that department was an mscai because basically it was tried and tested by mazda so whatever. immediately after saying that he said "you should look at the one we have out back". i assumed he meant it was hooked up by a tech or something, performance-wise

when he said "you'll see what i mean" i immediatly realized he meant that it was ****** up

i think that's an understatement.....

odds are the person is not on here, may not even be in any of the other forums. all i could tell for sure was that the exhaust was aftermarket, didn't see anything on the inside and i didn't examine the engine bay for anything that didn't look like burned up stock parts

during the warm weather they may have been sitting in heavy traffic so heatsoak set in, then a honda next to them bounced the redline 1000 times so they felt they needed to do the same thing....and the motor went the way of the blackeyed peas...boom boom POW

i may go back with my D80 and take some more pics so you can see better detail of the carnage

actually...when the astronauts are ready to return to earth they leave the shuttle up in space and ride a TR ms3 back down. that's just normal reaction to re-entering earth's atmosphere

It looks like the fire was hotter on the drivers side. Electrical fire maybe?
