Debadge or Not to Debadge

Mazdaspeed 6
Like many other MS6 drivers I love the sleeper status of the car. I was just wondering how many of you out there took the time to debadge your car and make it more of a mystery?

I was planning on removing the 6 after Mazdaspeed and replacing it with blacked out emblems. Or, hell, I may save myself $50 and take the Mazdaspeed and the 6 off and not replace them with anything.

de-badging just looks bad.. mostly.. our cars dont have alot of extra glitter and i like the stock look so ive left mine alone.. and nothings more sleeper than stock.. IMO

I removed the badge in the lower left corner, then swapped out the badges for black ones. I like that its a subtle change, and people don't know exactly what this car is. There aren't too many MS6 badges aside from that, basically the rear badge and the front floor mats and that's it.

I also like the symmetry that no rear model badge gives it. Clean and simple.

Bought mine debadged. I wouldn't mind buying some blacked out badges for it. Although it does look pretty clean.

I think I'd be funny if you took the "speed" off, some kid pulls up thinking it's a regular 6 and bam!

Honestly, no one knows the difference, I have all my badges on my car (including the V6) and people always ask "is that a speed?" I think they just like to rub in that I don't have one lol

de-badge.

my thinking was that the less someone knows about the car, the less likely they are to "rev" at me. this idealology has been true with the exception of those who have to know what the car is and is capable of and i'm fine with that.

it's also provides humor when it's takin somewhere for whatever reason and is put on a front wheel drive lift and the mechanic has to ask me what the hell kind of car it is.

Yeah, I ended up de-badging and removing the stripe down the sides. Looks much cleaner now. Of course while it was parked outside it got shat on by the damn birds; so pictures might be a while

nope it looks like you had an accident, had trunk repainted and couldn't afford badges. Besides, it's a Mazdaspeed, nobody knows what it is anyways

All the more reason to keep it under the radar. That goes for common folk and LEOs. I don't think it looks cheap at all.

If anything, shave the MS6 and get an MPS badge to replace it and put it on the right corner of the trunk.

I personally like debadged cars. I just think it makes it look cleaner.

Check out mine.

That's the exact setup I have, but with a black M instead. I've been considering an MPS badge lately in black to accent it, thoughts?
