MS3 Wheel Fitment Pics & Specs

well, it will be about as much as you can do before a roll. I am flush with a +38mm offset and 235's, but it took work. With a 5mm spacer, you will have an effective offset of +47 which will look great, but won't stick out. Mine come out a bit. Not sure how far you want to go...

235/40 will fit better on the stocks the a 225?? how the tire is wider though??

The diameter on a 225/45 is larger than a 235/40. A 225/45 will be too tall and your speedo will be off. A 235/40 has the correct sidewall height. Check out the calculator on 1010tires.com.

This thread is far from its original intentions. I understand everyone has questions, but can someone clean this up and get it back on track??

ok, updated the first post and hyperlinked the people who filled out the information correctly. I'm gonna try to get a mod in here and clean up all the post that aren't information and pics, and get all the questions out of here and done through PM's

1) Axis Hiros (refinished BBS gold)
2) 19 x 8.5 +35
3) falken FK452 - UHP summer tires
4) 225/35-19
5) BC coilovers - rears all the way down, fronts slightly raked
6) IDK my camber at the moment, but a few degrees negative camber is a must
7) Fenders have been rolled completely flat in the rears and pulled slightly
8) Car scraped over big bumps in the rear and needed modded badly
9) Car clears from lock to lock easily and only slightly rubs over big dips. No cutting of the tires though
10) It is an aggressivly flush setup with slightly stretched tires.. I love it!!

oh MAN does that look great. im glad you decided not to do any two-tone scheme with the color, they came out perfect.

also, how close to the front strut tower are you?

Thanks Mad,
There is almost a 2 finger gap between the tire and strut tower. The tire has a some concave to it. Slightly stretched on the 8.5" wheel.

hmmm. because for my next wheels, i think ill go with an 18x8.5 with like ~+45 offset, you think ill have room? I figure, if I get a high offset, I'll have a bit more room for some beefy tires.

what size tire. If you plan on going with a 235 or a 245, youll need at least a 40 offset. Maybe go with a +48 and a 10mm hubcentric spacer. Putting you at +38. Of course, all my calculations have figured in your heavily rolled rears.

+38 to +42 or so, you can run a 235/40

+43 to +46 or so, you can run a 245/35 maybe 245/40

These are all just my opinions, im just guessing off clearance values from setups ive test fitted. Good luck, and what are you looking at getting. Or is it a secret?
