Redline Leathers Arrived

Got my Redline leathers today. Went w/ black leather, w/ charcoal stripes, and JDM red stitching. the black leather and red stitching are a perfect match for the car. wanted the charcoal stripes to ad a little more luxurious touch, plus it meant more red stitching (bonus). the arm rest needs a little more smoothing out (as you can see) but it was all super easy to install. i heard stories of people loosing fingers trying to get the arm rest cover on. i am assuming Redline addressed this issue, because mine went on real easy, leaving it a little loose until i massaged it out on the sides. needed to reuse the plastic ring that the stock shift boot is super glued to. i didnt glue the new leather to it, just twisted the knob down on the ring, pinching the leather in between them. no tools required for the whole install. center console inserts just pop right out with ash tray and armrest compartments open. excellent product. highly recommend.

Looks good, I almost went with a similar setup, but decided to just do the black with red. Still need to get a shift boot though.

Mine took maybe 5-7 business days - pretty quick considering it ships from across the pond.

That looks nice. I like the charcoal stripes and I think it would add to the interior of a 08 (not 08.5) really well! But it still looks awesome in your car!

how does that mount on the armrest? slip over ? or do you get a new lid?

I does look quite good, and I agree, the hint of grey ties it in to the rest of the interior

thanks for the input. i'm glad you guys like it. the arm rest is a slip over cover. it has a half inch elastic band around the bottom. its all cut and stitched specific to the model of vehicle. they even match the length of your shifter if you have changed it from stock.

Wow, those look really nice. I was considering sticking with the stock leathers. The charcoal really gives it a nice touch!

looks good, i went with the black leather and red stitching. mine took a really long time nut it was because it was back ordered over the holidays, and then got hung up on the east coast with the snow SNAFU over the holidays. i only got the two boots, but plan on ordering the center console cover soon. great product
