Surgelines Dyno

Just wondering if thier dyno is pretty dam conservative..Not bad thing at all..but just went onto thier site..looks like thier updating alot..Anyways they just got Subaru wrx-sti dyno's on there online database..and theres a 2008 sti with avo380 turbo-avo intake.avo tmic..Walbro FP...850cc injectors..and hes making 290 whp and 301 wtq on 18psi 92 oct..I swear ive seen simular setups running 320+ whp...and also they have a 2002 WRX with-COBB Tuning AccessPORT, VF39, 3" Turboback Exhaust w/High Flow Cat, 2.35L Stroker Kit, AVO STi Top Mount Intercooler, COBB SF Intake w/Airbox, Deatschwerkes 850cc Fuel Injectors- E85- 21psi..............making 240 whp..and whopping 328wtq...Would think the horsepower numbers would be up............Regardless...Cobb tuning @ Surgeline are just a awesome bunch of guys who know what thier doing..turning out some great cars.....Makes me feel pretty alright making almost 300 whp on that same dyno with a 17 psi tune. and just bolt ons.

yeah, those numbers sound conservative. I have heard that Surgeline are some of the most knowledgeable people on turbo engines in the country, so they obviously know what they be doin

you would need to see some bone stock baselines to really know. I've seen dynos posted of MS3's, stock, showing 280+ wtq as a baseline, which everyone knows is not possible. Dynos are all over the place!

I paid for an etune from Cobb/Surgeline just before Thanksgiving. Still not done. Working with Tim. Apparently, he's a busy boy.
