For u HID guru's, what u think, bad HID????

I did, switched both out, with same results. On the other HID bulb, its works perfect.

Yea, now its gonna be like at least two weeks for my HID's to be working. Really sucks.

Also, on the one HID that did work, the hi/low beam function IMO isn't worth it. All the bulb does is move in and out. I paid an extra $20 bucks for this and feel I got suckered.

For others out there thinking of getting the hi/low HID, its not worth it. Save $20 bucks and stick with the low beams.

I disagree. the high/low changes the entire bulb focus. I only use it on the driver's side and still feel it is VERY worth it.

ahhhh! Man, thats crazy! I ordered the 35w kit so I won't go to jail! LOL Cops in Orange Country, CA like to pull over us minorities for anything. Take 30 times plus since my youth! LOL

This is true, my mom just got pulled over for having a necklace hanging form the rear view mirror. He also got her for front tint darker than 70%. My sisters boyfriend, firefighter with stickers on the window and uniform in the back seat got pulled over because "well there have been a lot of drunk teens out lately"
The cop was very disrespectful, and he had just gotten off a 24hr shift and was not in the mood to deal with him. ahhaha

but my brother just ordered a set and he got an email saying they were back ordered

Ok dose anyone have a pick of the 55w kit with 6k to 8k light? I am trying to gauge weither I will be constantly pulled over for them. Also will the extra heat from the 55w light hyave a negative effect on the housing and lense itself? I want to orrder these soon that is why I am thinking 55?

when I installed the pass side, it aimed a little higher than stock as it was... when the high beam is engaged, it shoots too high to be useful, so I left it as it was and disabled the high beam feature on that side... aimed the driver's side down and left the high beam option on. it works for me.. not that I'd expect others to follow the example.

If it works for you then its all good! I guess if I ever want to flash somebody who might be blinding me then I'll have that option. Thats the only real reason I got the hi/low kit. Guess its not that bad if you don't mind an extra $20 bucks.

Look at them, they either have a halogen bulb or a factory HID projector and ballast setup. The aftermarket HID bulbs don't fit factory applications.

Dont get 55watt!

The 55watt version is freakin bright and annoying to other drivers and they will flash at you everytime you are driving at night. My friend has 55watt HID's in his P5 and I have 15% tint in the rear and they are STILL crazy bright. 35watt HIDs are plenty bright. Just my $0.02

Dose he have issues with wirring or housing melting? Also did he properly adjust them or is it the glare that makes it so bad? I am thinking just low. Why would you need high with them. Soirry for all the NOOB questions but I am the engine type. Just tired of my headlights that resemble the bulbs on my tree.
