DDM Tuning Apexcone Raptor HID Kit - $30 plus shipping

darn... this would be an awesome price if the shipping wouldn't cost me more than the kit itself

Order multiple kits... this will offset the price of shipping. First set I ordered, shipping was $11.XX. I order 2 more sets and the shipping came to $13.XX for both.

Buy large, sell on the street :)

being in hawaii... it only gave me 3 options.. the cheapest being $31 and some odd change

i already have HID's but wouldn't mind a 35w kit... i dislike when ppl flash there highlights at me

hey 808mp5, does that mean your current hid's are 55w? if so could you take some pics of your lights on a garage or wall to see how bad the glare is. I searched for pics but no luck on a 55w hid system on a p5.

thanks

I ordered them and I have them sitting in my closet sadly I'm not planning to install them till March, cause I have inspection coming up :/

wtf? How hard is it to put the stock bulbs back in? March is in like 4 months bro, throw those HIDs in already.

25? i put HIDs in the gf's jeep in 10 mins... and it would have taken half that if one of the headlight retainers wasn't a b*tch to put back in when it popped out.

took me forever due to the metal retainer thing. i had to clip the bulb plastic corners so it could lock in place

i just got mine yesterday, it took a week to get here, but i ordered mine before the holidays... so that's why, i know it'll take more like a couple of hours to put mine in if i don't get some help from others who've done it before... we'll see.

idk if they sent me the right bulb size, but it seems really small and the clip retainer does nothing...i have to ghetto rig it now -_-, but besides that, super easy install, and they work amazing.

I will find out next week :) Love my new lights so much I just ordered a set for my gf and a set of 3000k for my fogs. Hope they don't need holes drilled (nervous)

yeah, please keep us posted

Well, I put my HID fogs in last nite. To do it you, you WILL need to modify some things.

First, I drilled the hole that is in the light house already bigger to 7/8" for the rubber grommet that come with the new lights (and sealed with goop). I also cut the old wires running into the fog light because the grounding clip needs to stay inside to hold down the bulb.

I also cut the spade terminals off of the HIDS and spliced them with the stock fog light harness. When doing so, the wires need to be connected back asswards... red with black and black with red, dumb I know.

ALSO, because the new bulb is bigger, the lens will NOT screw completely back onto the housing. I went enough so that the screws were in about 3 threads on both sides, then sealed them with some goop.

I wish I would have taken pictures of everything, but I didn't, just wanted to get them on. The 3000k looks great for the fogs, and they don't over power my 5000k low beams. Ill post pictures up later tonght of night shots.

azuelke, i hooked up the fogs with the wires properly, (black to black and red to red). thats why it does not fire up, so if i reverse the connections..... weird thing, the fuse in the engine compartment for the fogs did not blow.... hope this works thanks!!

Just installed my HID's and one fire's up for a few seconds then cuts out! The other is fine. I ended up just leaving one HID in my car, and put the stock back in

Any idea's why one HID only fires up for a few seconds, then cuts out. I switched everything around to see if maybe it was the ballast, but its not. Looks like a bad HID bult IMO. Hopefully I can replace it for a new one ASAP!

The fuse wont blow, the light just won't work. When I tested them, I had them wires the way they should be and I didn't get anything. Switched the wires and it worked like a champ.
