All 3 resonators removed?

i cant find a vid on youtube but what does the stock exhaust sound with all 3 resonators gone im just wondering if it changes the sound or does it just make it louder, right now i have the last two removed
 
I still say that that last one is a muffler... a "straight through" design but it is a muffler.

If you ever plan on putting a DP/TP on it will sound like s***. But if you plan on keeping the rest of the exhaust stock, it sounds nice and growly.

So (by my reasoning) you have a muffler and the last reso deleted? But still have the one closest to the cats?

ya i guess i have the muffler and middle one gone im thinking about taking off the other one but i like the sound i have now but i wouldn't mind it lil louder though, does it change it a lot? and i do plan on keeping on the cats and the stock downpipe

Getting the racepipe will make it a lot more growly and SRT-4 like...

If you ditch your last resonator then if will be pretty growly and loud... but not overly agressive. It will sound nice. BUT, if you do decide to get a TP or DP it will sound like crap.

I say leave your last one and save up money for a TP. It will sound good then. Or better yet, save up for an intake.

haha i want one so bad but problem is my parents gave me the loan to buy the car and they wont let me to anything to the engine till its payed off, when it is im going with cobb sri,tip,rear mm, and accessport, so for now im just doin mainly appearance stuff, im gettin some enkei EDR9s in the spring

Get a rear MM or atleast CS inserts. This will not show and no one will ever know.
 
Agreed. A rear motor mount is a must. Such a great mod if you drive the car hard at all.

I need a trans mount though... I want to completely eradicate engine movement!

Order stuff and put it on. My dad would freak if when he got home I told him I put a new intercooler and race pipe on. We didn't talk much for a few months but eventually he's just gotten over it...sorta.

thats what i did with the exhaust and tint haha i just went and did it, the tint he dident really care about he got pretty mad at me for doing the exhaust but for me that was a must
 
Yeah that's friggen loud. Does anyone have a vid of a TP and both the middle resos removed? That's what I want to do.
 
Yeah that's how mine is too and I'm really happy with it.

From my experience the farther back the resonator is in the system the higher the pitch it will dampen. So the first resonator quiets the lower tones, the mid quiets the mid tones, and the rear takes out the high tones (rasp). A turbo takes alot of the noise out to begin with, but mostly high tones. When I make an exhaust for a turbo 4cyl I usually just put a small resonator near the end of the system and it sounds great. If for some reason someone wants a raspy exhaust then I put a resonator up front and nothing after it but pipe.

Messing with exhaust on turbo cars is fun... not so much on non-turbo's. Those are temperamental. Pick the wrong design and the car either is way too loud or sound like crap, or both. It took me 3 tries to make a system I was happy with on my accord. It's still too loud, but it's acceptable compared to the first two designs.
