I've got pulled over as well back in 2007 due to no front plate. Tis why I currently have one on mine.

Me and a buddy were sitting in a parking lot talking when 3 bike cops came up and one was yankin my chain for no front plate. A few months later, I had a vehicle inspeciton issued and decided to put my front plate back on after that. One less thing that will get attention.

I'm glad this discussion has come up, I've been debating taking my front plate off. I see cars around my area all the time without them. Did you guys get fined??

A "fix it" usually has a little fee, local is $25

I got a verbal warning but my car is illegal so I don't need anything to get cops' attention anyways, thats why I sold my cf hood. lol.

In CA it is now $25 per violation (not per citation).

I got popped for no front plate and front window tint. $50 to the govenator.
