quick KR question

I don't get really high KR when WOT, unless I've been cruising for like 15 minutes and then get on it a bit in lower rpms, which I know is a no no. Anyways I hit like 5+ KR while accelerating through sharp turns, or while shifting. Is this normal. I didn't think shift KR made sense.

no tuning solution?

i experience kr but not 5 degrees. at most i see 2 or 3 and that is very rare

Not saying this is your problem, but I never had any luck (lots of KR) with the OTS MSCAI maps, so much so that I sold the AP.

I'm running a protune and see .3-.7 pretty frequently but that could be any number of things. no reason to pull more timing for false kr....kills the power

Kock between shifts is not that much to worry about. Unless it's happening frequently. I too get kr between shifts when I don't shift smoothly and the car buckles. The engine movement could trigger the sensor to cause a false kr reading. I also get kr when I cold start the car and accelerate a bit when car is not fully warm. Hey i'm late for work lol.

Sorry I do have an ap, what about see kr while accelerating through turns?

At what rpm do you start to accelerate through turns? I notice that I get kr (4) when I accelerate hard around 3k rpm. My understanding about this is that our cars make crazy torque power around that area (2700 to 3000 rpm). So you might not want to go heavy on the foot there. Instead start at 3500 to 3700 rpm until you get a protune. But don't sweat a fully stock ms3 will get kr too. Also car will perform differently depending how it's feeling that day or weather changes. Or you can try another OTS map if the one you are on now causing you to many problems.

PS3 controller sucks for typing lol.
