Car wasn't gonna blow up with incorrect fans, didn't have much better view with valve cover off, and the rattling was non-existent until last night when I replaced the blown plug. Simple.

can't see in an unlit cylinder bore anyway. I know the fan being backwards wouldn't blow it up, and I read the post.

Nah, only got about half way through. It's a pain in the ass to work on the car at my place, I only have sockets and wrenches that go to 14mm along with a couple other tools. Hell, I couldn't even take the EGR off.

The turbo mani is unbolted but the egr is hooked up, the DP has one bolt taken off but the other 2 are still there, the IM is ready to come off, I just need to get to the bottomside bolts and the wiring/coils have been removed.
