I feel the same way. Others make them look great but I don't think I could put myself up to it.
And I drove it to work, probably gonna put the Racing Harts on tomorrow(today now I guess).

can somebody with a J&S Safeguard for a protege post pictures of it, i've been told by Steve NSN Motorsport the J&S Unit must have a Vaccum source connection which mine doesn't.. Thank You.

Well because as mentioned below i did, and nobody said anything simply ingored my posts same as they did on my own build thread when asked for help about my Haltech and Launch Control and anti Lag features, they just didnt said anything about it or related... just like some have in this thread as well... Ill just PM the people i see they have it install, that way i dont bother others and just get straight up answers !!!!
Mine did have the vacuum input, but you don't have to use it, so you'll be fine. I am thinking you got one of the earlier units.
If I am remembering correctly, the MAP sensor is only used if you are pulling timing per boost level, I think it's called boost retard. You can hook the unit up with nothing but the knock sensor for an input so that's no big deal. And in your setup that is what I would do. Use your Haltech for all tuning purposes, and have the J&S as a backup incase you do encounter unforseen detonation. Just hook up the knock sensor, pwr, gnd, switched 12V, Ign1/2 In/Out. Done.

Can you make the rings a little smaller or will it show the grill being trimmed? Also what did you use to make the tings?

I bought the setup from P5x2 (now MX-P5) and he had already cut the holes in the grille. I had to go the size I did with the rings to cover the cutouts. I left a little less than a quarter inch around the light housing for heat dissipation. They're made from plexiglas. I was able to find a low lustre black that matched the grille closely.
