the cold pipe has a hks flange welded onto it so im i stuck with that bov or could i get it off and get another bov?
:/
You could buy an adapter.. depending on the bov you want to go to.
but what im saying is its already got one on it for a hks, and idk if i want a hks so could i take that weld off and weld another one on
or cut it off and either put on a bung for a hose (for using a RDV of some sort) or get a different flange welded on.
personally i think the adapters look cheap and bad.
ok so i can cut it off??? good to hear
now is there a good bov for the 7psi range???
why wouldn't you want the hks? Just curious. Its been the most reliable one I've used thus far.

the first gen is adjustable, so yes, the later ones are self adjusting, so, yes.
(yes)
i thought they made bovs for low boost lol (bang)
so what one would you say i should get? the hks
some manufacturers make different springs to tune the BOV for lower boost... thats really the closest you come to a "low boost specific" BOV. some just can't handle more than X lbs of boost because they start to leak.
if you've already got the flange for it, yeah. I'd go HKS. thats what I'm running... full recirc.
im never going to up my boost cause this is my daily driver, so i thought a low boost bov would run better on the car.
looking forward to the day you eat those words... lol. mine's DD, and the FMIC by itself upped the boost. when I put in a new DP/MP that'll up the boost again... sick how poorly these things breathe stock.
