I know this isn't the correct spot but i figured you guys could help the most. I'm getting the "Err 01 Communications btwn camera and lens is faulty. Clean the lens contacts" message on my rebel XSi. Can someone PM me some help on what to do? Thanks guys.

Which lens are you using with the camera? If its a non-Canon lens, I wonder if the electronic contacts aren't lining up correctly. There are probably others here who would know better though - I've never seen that error code before on my XTi...

It's a cheap Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II. I've cleaned the contacts with a cotton swap and iso. alcohol and still nothing. I think i'm just going to take it to the store and have them check it out. Sorry for the OT.

Is the focus supposed to be soft on the Civic? The car looks slightly out of focus to me, or its just the monitor on this work laptop...

iCarbon is a friend of mine's company which recently opened its doors making carbon fiber parts - so far they have a full line coming out for he 1 series... thier website is icarbondesign.com

idk wtf happened with that picture of the civic and im actually rather dissappointed with the fact that the car is just a smudge outta focus
and i blame the noise one 2 things - my laziness to not take care of it with NeatImage and the d40x's sub-par image sensor
Most people won't notice either problem, or you can just say the focus was supposed to be on the bridge =P
But the D40x has the same sensor as my D80 which is a CCD sensor. So no high ISO for us!!
