Engine Question

Hi I have a quick question and It may or may not sound like I'm repeating the guy below me but I'm in the same boat. I just bought an 01 mp3 and it needs a motor. So am I getting this straight? The 2.0 from a regular protege will fit the mp3 addition and all I have to do is swap over the intake? And if that's the case what years of the regular 2.0 would I want to look to do the swap? Cuz finding the actual mp3 motor is a real pain and most have higher miles that the car itself.

You can use any 2.0 out of a Protege. I think it is only 01 and up that has the 2.0. Millineas and probes have the same block as well.

No 2.3 is a v6. Just supercharged. Sorry 626's. I stole that block backin the day when i was turboed.
