Never ending quest for new rims- need some input!

Well folks I'm still looking for rims....for my MS3...

The main choice are the:

VOLK RE30- 18x8 +44 5x114 assuming I find a really good deal on these I will pull the trigger. However, that has yet to come.

So, I found couple of other good deals but the specs aren't my favorite:

Gram Lights Type 57RC 17x7 +50 17x8 +43 5x114.3 Silver

What is the widest tire I could run of the gram lights type57rc specs? Notice that two of those rims are 17x8 and the other two are 17x7

My last choice for now are the RAY VOLK GRAM LIGHTS 57O 18x8.5 5x114 +33 offset because there's a deal on these as well. What's the widest tire I could run on these as well?

I'm running BC coilovers and my car is going to go as low as it could....any advice you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Sebastian

17x9 they will fit

Is English your second language?

The 7 inch wheel is what kills your tire selection, depending on sidewall height you will be limited to around a 225.

The 8.5 at +33 will be pushing the envelope. Are you looking primarily at used wheels?

Alright. The Volk RE30's with the 33 offset are out.

The Gram Lights Type 57RC 17x7 +50 17x8 +43 5x114.3 (despite it's a good deal) they're out as well as the limitations of tire width isn't acceptable. I would like to run at least 235's.

I have another deal on SSR Type C RS 18x8.5 +49 / 5x114.3 (Anthracite)

I love the rims and at 18.5 pounds with the price you can't go wrong. However, what I don't really like is the offset. Regardless, if I went with the SSR type C RS wheels would I be able to run 235 front & rear?

Don't matter as long as the deal is good. If I don't get them this year next year I'll spend the retail price on one of these rims. The reason I want to get them this year before winter is because I want to track my car and the weakest link on the car are the rims/tires.

I have another: ADVAN SIENA 18"

SPECS: 18x8+38 114.3 5 hole and 18x9+45

Would I encounter any issues with the 38 offset?

If you want to run a 235 tire those SSR are probably your best bet. If you rub the strut up front you could always run a spacer.

Thanks for the response. However, I'm in the process of actually closing the deal on the VOLK RE30 44 offset. The seller got back to me and I just can't pass these up. I'll be slapping 235/40/18 tires Dunlop direzza star spec Zr1.

Just be ready for some possible minor rubbing in the rear on those noticeable bumps in the road if you haven't rolled the fenders. I'm running 18x7.5 +43 offset w/ 225/45/18's, and after a month or so, I have noticed the rubbing, and even shaved a thin strip off the shoulder of one of the rear tires. Suspension is completely stock, and a fender roll is planned for sometime in the next 4-6 weeks.

Thanks for the input. I'll see how they go... I'm currently running BC coilovers and is lowered about half the stock height. I could only vertically put two fingers in the rears- between the top of the tire & fender and the front about 3...

I need to do quite a few adjustments as far as height (I'm going to go as low as I can- but I will wait till the volk's come in- as well as adjust the bound/rebound. The rear is too stiff.

The last thing to do is also drill out bigger holes in the strut frame so I could normally adjust the hex bolts without removing the coilover....
