turbo whistle

hi all

how come the speed3 has no turbo-whistle? or is there something wrong with my car lol. i've had the speed for about four months now, you can "feel" the turbo kicking in, but there is absolutely no turbo whistle.

not that i need to hear the whistle or anything, i was just wondering

The problem is your passenger floor board hasn't fallen out yet. Once that happens you will hear it no problem and won't need the AC anymore.

I never heard mine while it was stock but ppl have told me they heard it spool up when they were driving beside me.

if you listen closely with the windows up and radio/air off the turbo can be heard

Intake will solve that...

Add an inlet and it'll help even more!

The stock airbox is too restrictive for you to hear the turbo spooling up well.
