Emmm sexy black non bling intake!!!! Install was pretty much flaw-less.

And I think there was a bracket missing for the coolant-overflow tank so I cut and bent and cut the stock bracket that holds the stock intake and overflow tank to make it work.

Dont forget to hook up that vaccuum hose from the intake, or you'll be pullin in debris into your intake. You said install was flawless, yet they didn't send you a bracket???

Swapped the MS axleback for my corksport and the car still sounds like s***. I think it's the OBX header. It's a POS. Should have never sold my stock mani.

They both sound basically the same due to me just swapping axlebacks. I'll try to take a sound clip one day. At the meet today I'm gonna see if anyone has their stock mani that they aren't using.

I know I need to get the vacuum tube. I haven't had the chance to run down and pick some tubing up.

I bought the intake used and the bracket wasn't in there but I did not mind making the stock bracket work at all. I enjoy solving things like that!!

Moral of the story - don't get an OBX header IMO. I used to think they were good for the price but I'd rather rock the stock mani. If I find one I'll go ahead and put the full exhaust on so I don't have to do it when turbo install day comes.

I'm not gonna spend much if anything on the stock mani. If I find one I'll sell the OBX and make my money back plus some.

Just got back from the local meet. Great turnout and I met some really cool people including THE daveb. lol. He's pretty sure he has his stock mani somewhere so I'll probably be getting one from him. Oh and for free. What a great guy. The exhaust sounds a lot better already though. It still sounds like s*** when revved a bunch but a lot better than before. I'll have the MS axleback up for sale probably tonight. If anyone is interested just PM me but I'll have proper thread and pics up tonight.

just installed mangaflow catback exhaust as well as sls hi flow cat midpipe, and OBX header! woo, cant wait for the ecu to reset and adjust so i can feel the gains!

i never get anything less then 93, i know people say there are no gains, but i feel like it treats the engine better, if not a few ponies. (prob only 1 or 2 at most)
the system sounds awesome, but i lost one of my non foulers so i have to go get one during lunch at work tomorrow. i was so pissed at myself.
