Gas Cap Holder?

Where does everyone put their gas cap when they're fueling? I can't seem to find anything to put it on, so it hangs and rests against the side of my car. I'm kind of nervous I'll scratch the side of my car with it one day by accident. I'm pretty sure all of the other cars I've owned had a little gas cap holder on the back of the fuel door.

Am I missing something in the design?

You can slide the cap onto the reverse L bracket on the fuel door. There's a little gap on the gas cap that will slide right onto the bracket. There's another way, too. PM'd you some info, too, with some pics since it's from another forum.

That's the way I did it before I changed to the aluminum fuel door. Worked like a charm every time.

thanks for this post... seriously i've dicked with this for 8 months and not once got it to hold without popping out and banging against the paint.

I use the method in the second picture from Hank3's post. They should have done it a better way than they did. My daughters Integra and my wife's Sienna holders are very simple and effective.

What? It has a holder? I've just been laying it upside-down on the other side of the fuel door...

Lol, yeah, it's not entirely obvious. When I first got my MS3, the cap would hang with the "dry" side against the paint if I let it dangle. But after they fixed my sticking gas cap issue by installing a new filler neck, it was hanging wet side to the paint. I figured out real quick-like where to stick that thing after that.

How many more ways are there? I think there have been four in this thread already.
