xDJ DUBx's 03.5 Pure White LX-T

auto-x will be next...

I went to my first meet last Sunday and I'm already hooked. On my spare time I've been reading about tips for AutoXing, walking the course, taking the turns, rules, etc! There are two more events this summer on campus (mile away and for free!) so I think the next one (July12th) i'm going to ride with someone to get the idea and I may ride again (July 21st) depending on how my car is after boost, or compete. I just bought AWR 19mm RSB, and ordered brackets & bushings as well as side motor mounts from AWR. I'm stoked

I'm so excited for you. I wish some people AutoXed around here I would love to get into it a bit.

I hear it's very addicting. I probably won't actually run my car til I feel comfortable with boost, and I don't feel comfortable autoXing with my clutch. By that I mean, it's a NA clutch compared to the MSP oem clutch so it's not as strong with me boosting. I told a buddy that and he said when he autoX's he's usually in 2nd or 3rd the whole time and doesn't really affect the clutch a lot. Just bother's me with some much pressure being loaded onto it, so i'd rather not do it til I get the money for clutch and flywheel. I will probably do it once just to see how it feels though.

& we're back!

5 lug swap is complete!

It took sat and sun but thats cause we put the 4lug on the p5, I now have the only rear drum p5 in the us, EDM!

So far, everything is pretty good, my brakes seem to be more responsive and I'm actually liking the 17" wheels more than the 16" wheels.

I think one of the rotors might be slightly warped, when I brake it sometimes gives a gentle wobble, but only when I brake. Also, the offset on these wheels are so freaking low, I'm rubbing in the back bad, need to raise it just a little. I think these wheels are somewhere around +25 - +30

Oh, and the p5, it has no springs (evil)

Dub, the P5 is slammed harder than your car. You gonna take that?!?

Looks like it went well though, gonna get some Racing Harts now?

It is, but its stuck in the backyard now. lol

Yup, next month there is a big CA meet and I'm gonna be gettin Bandar's wheels since hes way north, it'll be a perfect time to get them.

Good work man I wish i had some rear discs. Sucks that the rears rub, but honestly i think your car will look way better with a bit more height in back. The whole back end lower than the front thing kind of kills it for me.

That too, I hate the rear tucking more than the front, reminds me of a damn msp (squinty)

Greg, looks great man. i actually like the wheels you have!

hit me up about that motor.. since you're closer and closer to the time.. pm me.
