I picked up a used MS3 about two weeks ago and have been reading up the forums. So today I retorqued my trans mount bolt today. Tomorrow I plan on changing the oil and cleaning my MAF sensor while i'm at work. Now that I think about it I need to turn the front rotors. Vibrations while braking at high speeds no fun.

"It's not nice to fool MOTHER NATURE..." Same thing happened to me today. Washed it this morning, rained later. Mostly I just need to get out the ol' Invisible Glass an' redo the windows.

Scangauges installed. Bad pictures here:

I'll get some better pics later. This setup ROCKS!

And please don't tell me my single DIN headunit sucks. I know it's ugly, but it sounds a million times better than the stock sport headunit.

i guess im old fashion but i prefer a traditional analog gauge over a digital one in a pod. if u want something digital to me it seems like itd be cheaper to get a dash hawk..? as long as it works for you thats all that matters

Removed rear wiper and put new black lug nuts on the rims.

the reap wiper is functional, i dont understand why you would remove it?

Asthetics... it looks pretty good without it. If only the window was not designed for a rear wiper, that'd look schweet. Idk why hatches have rear wipers and sedans and coupes that have more horizontal glass don't have wipers.

Finally got around to mounting my passenger side... mount. i will see if i can remeber how to load a picture. Install was easy and itook my time. Was done by 715 this morning. started around six and messed with some other stuff while i had the car up. I got this piece from evokilla at a reasonable price. No comparison to the stock unit for stiffness. mine was shot it seems. this part does not flex and the stock one i can move by hand. I actually can feel the difference when upshifting and moreso downshifting under load. The engine is stable. no vibrations that i would mention. Very pleased. Thanks Joseph and Mazda247 for the tighten up!

Same-oh, same-oh. Washed my car. Went to a store and when I got back out, I din't realize how sexy they look compare to others cars on the lot. Never really step back and look at them that well. Mines black mica.

Removed my stock rear mount and Corksport inserts after about 34000 miles. Installed a TRZ dogbone mount with the poly insert. Holy Christ, if this thing is the milder of the two, I hope to never experience a delrin mount. I`ll give it some time and see if a little breakin in time helps out.
I also replaced the spark plugs with what I believe are the Nitto versions of the stock plugs, but I noticed that they are just a tiny bit shorter than the Autolites. We`ll see if that makes any difference.
While I had the plugs out, I pulled the springs from the packs and reseated them to get a fresh contact against the base.
I also took the opportunity to tighten up all the boost tube clamps, all of which turned out to need it.
When I started the car, the cold idle was about 500 rpm higher than previous and took a while to settle down. The exhaust is louder now, something I read about before, but put down to active imaginations, because it made no sense. It still doesn`t, but it is, so there you have it.
The interesting thing is that, probably due to tightening the tubes, my boost gauge is rock steady at just under 15 psi under hard acceleration, whereas before it would spike much higher and then drop lower.

Didn't really do anything to the car really, but I did buy a house 2 weeks ago (along with a garage) plus an 1800psi power washer. :)

parked on the side of the street and under a tree overnight. the next morning found out my car has this weird water sticky dots everywhere.... pissed off! ****ing tree sap!! gotta wash my car very soon...

does regular wash take off tree sap or do i need some kind of special stuff to get rid of tree sap??

Changed the spark plugs yesterday. Wasn't sure they had done it when they swapped my engine, but it looks like they had - the old ones were in pretty good shape. Changed them anyway... Next few days i'll be putting in Kain's old Forge BPV (thanks, Kain!) :D

you will need mckrauts power washer!jkg you might need bug and tar remover but take care of it asap that stuff will damage the paint over time. and yes, Forge ftw. And seventy mile on the new passengerside mm. I stalled the car leaving a light. I have never stalled the car in 40000 miles. I think i like this thing alot.

If you haven't ever done so, you can also use a clay bar to remove loads of gunk that was in your paint that you never knew was there. Your car will come out looking amazing after the clay and a round of wax. It made my MS6 look like it was painted yesterday.

Meguiar's sells a $20 kit that comes with two clay bars, some microfiber towels, and the spray lubricant. That's what I used and I liked it a lot.

I've got a cp-e downpipe for sale, from my 2008 mazdaspeed3. Let me know if intrested, send me an email. frankiefiggz@hotmail.com

This is not the sale section. The moderator will be by shortly and move and or delete your post. Please go to the sale section and post this along with pictures of the pipe as required by the site. I'm sure you will have no problem selling the pipe if you follow the rules, otherwise your post will be deleted by the moderator.
