OMG do I have pictures! Ill post later this week. It's a lot of fun, specially the tourist areas. We also went to take a look at how the construction is coming along with the condo we bought there.Next purchase will be a Seadoo to have down there for sure. SOOO much fun.
Seadoo's are definetely a blast. My g/f's Uncle (who's practically a millionaire, I need to become tight with him, lol) got a brand new seadoo. It's a sweet design, I forget what the model is. But it has digital gauges, and when you get on it literally throws you back and the speedometer literally stays readable throughout the entire speed range when accelerating where as some you can not read them. But it's awesome...Can't wait to see the pics!

So nothing new with the car other than hating it. Ive been talking back and forth with SandSpeed a lot about modding a car and have come to the conclusion that it's honestly worthless at this point. The Pro lost all the hye it used to have and I am pretty bored with it so I think im gonna start saving for my HOPEFULL project and just tune the Pro to enjoy whatever else it can offer. Thinking ill part it out block and all, bring it back to stock and have it as a daily while I start on the new car. But first I gotta find a chasis.

Man I highly recommend wiring a wb signal to your haltech do some datalogs tune that s*** and get your moneys worth AND turn up the boost! After #5 goes in, if your blowing trannies anyway you might as well turn it up and enjoy it a little!!!!!!

Just wondering Fredo,, how the hell you are on your 5th tranny ? jesus christ i know our trannies sucks but 5 or going to be 5 is to much... how do you drive your car?, because honestly i don't think the problem is your boost or HP, might be the way you drive the car
Data log i've never done. I should wire it but honestly I don't really think it's necessary its gonna go on a dyno when I do the final tune.
Rev match into the gears whenever possible. So if anything I drive better than normal. The trannies I use come from a junkyard with usually 150+ miles on them. I don't expect them to have the best syncros or be in the best condition overall. But for $100 per tranny I can't complain, i'm still under what it cost to build a tranny and get a quaiffe in there.

Yeah I think I might try doing it myself. I mean its only tuning fuel and meth kit...and cam gears. lol Ok I think im NOT gonna try this after reading what I just wrote.
Pat I know I know 5 sounds like a lot but at this point this last one has lasted over a year now and 3rd gear syncro is finally starting to give out. I already got two more trannys waiting in the garage as back ups. Oh I break them cause I clutch kick sometimes. I know it's useless in FWD but fun factor is 10.

Good point I wouldn't feel comfortable either!! I just feel for you putting in all that work and not getting more out of it? Pulling timing with my J&S on top of the p5 timing curve is one thing but start advancing and

Yeah, you're running an F10 like me right? I have an E8 for sale since I decided not to install. Oh well...Hopefully I can make good power with the meth kit. I might consider trying to use an MP3 ECU if there is no pinging. Well see that's just an idea to throw out there.
Furious of the fact that I DONT want to spend ANY more money on the car and yet the car is slower than when the motor was stock. I want to finish the meth and tune but then I also got something going on with the steering pulling to the right. I DONT want to spend anything on this car. Someone give me a 07 S2K W/ low miles and ill GIVE you my Protege AS-IS.

i don't understand what people see in the s2k. they drive like s*** and really aren't all that fast. IMO the new SI is much better. just needs a little more ponies under the hood. maybe they stopped making the s2k for a reason?
