Differences in 02 and later P5s

I was reading in some of the threads and somebody mentioned they had an 02 and that it was the faster one.

Are the early ones better? Just curious as to what this person was referring too.

the silver ones are faster. there is a thread out there somewhere.

I got a silver one.

There were a few differences between the 2002 and the 2002.5 and 2003

From what I know between them

2002.5 and 2003 had

Side marker lights on the fender
different style alloy wheels
open cup holder (2002 had a flap cover to it)
triptonic auto tranny
optional roof racks
optional rear bumper sil plate thing


im sure there is a thread out there for that.

I have to disagree...shouldn't the yellow ones be the fastest since they lack a clearcoat? This means less weight...lol...I got a yellow one.

while I would agree with that theory the silver ones vs other colors are dynoed so its proven

i think if you do a search of 22V you should find the thread.

as well as the gauges too right? the backlight was different? or am i thinkn the sedans?
