BMW is hardly 'exotic'. Never did I say they weren't well engineered, or cheaply built. However, they cost 2x+ what a similar size car from a different (and dare I say...better) manufacturer for no reason other than the blue and white badge. Exotic cars are just that...exotic. They have their place (unfortunately one of them is not my garage), as expensive or 'useless' (depends on if you're actually using it for it's intended purpose) as one may deem them to be.

I do love how you people enjoy bashing such wonderfully engineered and crafted cars. If I had the money I would by most of the exotic cars that people consider useless. And I'm sure if you has that money you would do the same.
However. There are some exceptions.
Like the Lambo Wagon...
its not a wagon, its lambos attempt at a 4 door sedan. If i remember correctly they decided it will not go into production. But if it does it will be produced in such a small amount of numbers it wont really be taht significant.
I feel a useless cars only applies to mass produced production cars.
bmw x6 (ugly, and what class does this compete in?)
chevy uplander (ugly, vans are on their way out, and crossovers are taking the place)
dodge caliber (ugly, cheaply made, doesnt have a niche it fits into)
Smart car (extremely cheap in interior quality, last car i would want to be in in a impact with an SUV, overpriced)
seriously? 2x+? what car is in any comparable to a BMW that costs less than half as much? i agree that BMWs are overpriced for what you get but i think a few grand over priced, not 2x+
Just repeating what i saw. And i hope to high heavens they didn't go into production.

EXACTLY my point... BMW's may be pricey HOWEVER they are on a higher class/level then toyota, mazda, nissan, honda etc..
I think MOST bmws are practical.. unlike most exotic cars.. Exotics have a purpose YES HOWEVER this thread asked what is the most worthless car..
and saying that ALL BMW MODELS are worthless is more an opinion then ANY fact.. because BMW cars are again as I said one of the best made cars on the market today
so you think the build quality and material quality of a 7series is the same as a toyota avalon? really? Im not sure what BMWs your sitting in, but they make some of the best cars in terms of fit and finish.

This guy OBVIOUSLY knows a well built car when he sees one..
entire bmw lineup???? you do realize that almost every car mag says the m3 is possibly the best car EVER built. Not to mention the m5, 335i, and 135i. If your going to say bmw than say mazda too, cuz it makes no sense....although ya do see a lot of mazdas having problems and blowing up, so in my mind they are over priced for what you get hehe. cant believe you said the same about lexus...you are not smart, and have obviously never been in a lexus. sounds like your jealous of cars you cant and never will be able to afford.

I'm being dead serious when I say this, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I was pissed when I saw this was the result of the "new" rotary car for Mazda:
They really need to stop production of the RX8 and either come up with a real RX7 replacement or rework the Renesis to get some way better numbers all around. Especially gas mileage.

I can't really say I disagree either. But the RX-8 saving grace it that it's not trying to be like anything else. It's a niche product. I don't feel it's competitive but I feel like it's something different for those who want something different.
I don't like the new 6 or the new 3. The last 2 recent mazdas I liked were the MS3 and MS6. I also like the new MX-5 restyle. I can't help but feel that styling wise, mazda has lost it's way a little.
