rofl...lmao...someone in berkeley is sporting this wheel set up...

they are off an '07 MR, paid 1000.00 to a guy on Craigslist. I've seen them listed a few spots from 1000.00-1200.00 for a clean set. The seller I met with wanted 1200.00 but took 1000.00. The tires came with, but they are worn a bit funky because Evo's have funky alignment specs. The guy I got them from clearly didn't rotate them! Another thing to consider is that the "mag style" lugs will cost you 130.00 if the guy you buy them from doesn't have a set, so it could be a bargaining chip for you. The stock Evo lugs work with our studs (12x1.5.) Lexus uses the same set up as well. With rolling the quarters, you really need to do this before you mount them. I learned the hard way and cut into my rear tires. Front fittment is perfect!
how much rolling did you do? i plan on rolling my rears here soon cause i want bc coilovers and want enough room for when i find a set of evo rims. wish i woulda got the bc's in the first place, cobb is just not low enough for me.
I had some clunking in front but that was because i forget to tighten an important bolt. Maybe i am a bit out there, but even after a shop does work that is above me i go back and check hardware after some driving miles. you should have no new noises in my opinion though. Unless there was something missed. People say you do not need a wheel realignment after install of Cobb springs. Have your shop throw it up on the lift again. Boy that front end is low with lip. coolenkei ekm3 18's on cobb springs cf dg lip

Anyone have noises with cobb springs i hope its just the breaking in(had them installed by pro shop). It only happens on bigger bumps steers really straight and no noises while turning ect.
245/40-18ahh naw, i was asking the guy with the MS6 and the evoX rims
oh wow yeah i dont think i can do it myself i would not know what the heck to do but yours looks good man. ive been looking for some evo wheels for a while now so hopefully some show up even though i just got some kosei wheelsI know I'll probably get a lot of crap, but I rolled my quarters myself with a rubber mallet and aluminum block for doing body work. I took the lip of the quarters to about 45 degrees, and about half way down the dog leg. The paint will come off of the lip, but if you tape up the quarters before beating on them, no paint will peel beyond the lip. I used undercoating on the lips after and it is perfect. The quarters have no waves at all around the opening. I have no clearance issues now, but it is seriously maxed out with my tire and wheel combo. I think a 245 tire would destroy my quarters with my current wheel width/offset.

and why is that /end thread........
Because our resident wheel snob probably thinks his BBSs are the be-all, end-all of wheels...
They look great and all, but they're hardly worthy of ending the thread.![]()

exactly what i was thinking
i personalyl think madvillian has more of a right to throw his wheels in here and say end thread over those...lol
Mazda boys really crack me up. You cream your pants over some Rotas but 2 piece forged BBS wheels get a "meh" response.
