boost and idle problems

Hey the other night i down shifted and watched the boost go up to 15psi it sacred the crap out of me because i dont have a boost controller on it i thought stock boost was around 6psi, also I noticed the idle tends to be erratic between 400-800 rpm and acts like it wants to die somtimes. I was also wonnering is it normal for 2nd gear to be a little tuff to get in during normal driving.

I just changed mine a few weeks ago the wga controls the internal wastegate you should get the ATP Turbo one its been good too me.....

its the thing on top of the turbo looks like a vacuum diaphragm with a rod about five inches long. its sorta under the exhaust manifold shield. should have a vacuum line running to it. check the line first before you buy a new one, could be a cheap fix, cracked or loose line

I got that 6psi actuator and its 9.8 psi for me. I know my setup flows really well but i cant see a 3.8 psi difference. Just keep that in mind since its not adjustable.

^^I know i know. It just always come out as acculator whenever i say it. Usually i put wga. But i didnt want the "wga??" question. Now i feel like a FOB.

ROFL.... Never thought of that way... FOB INDEED... ******* hilarious!!...

cheh yo ways gay acculator!!

so the waste gate would affect it at idle to? because its tends to idle irratic sometimes also. It also flashed the cel for a second then it went away.

my second gear would be a pain in the ass to get into sometimes, it sucked it would go like half way in and then grind, i changed the tranny fluid with some stuff that was very popular on here for that problem, forgot what it is called tho, but made everything smooth and easy.Search for it.

Yup if the wga is leaking (diaphram inside torn) it will cause boost issues and a vac leak which leads to poor idle

Ok so if its the wga would that cause it to feel like motor is pulsing in mid-range rpm under boost.
