COBB turbo inlet

My intake presses down on my recirc hose as well with the Cobb inlet. The hose isn't really crimped or anything. Should I be worried about it? Also, has anyone else noticed a slight "cough" sound from the intake when you release the gas pedal after romping it pretty hard up to say 3500 rpm?

Does it sound like a squirrel bark? Mine does.

Maybe a little bit yes. It happens pretty much in tandem or right before the Forge CLINK sound. Sometimes it's a bit jarring... sounds like a hose got sucked off or something.

i get backfiring now with my inlet, and can't seem to get my bov/bpv adjusted properly anymore.

i am getting some random fireballs out the exhaust...it doesn't happen all the time...but it does catch me by surprise

I have the cp-e 3 inch inlet and RKM v2 BPV

Just installed my Cobb turbo inlet and SRI yesterday, terrific products, couldn't be happier!!

Love that sound, BOV is next!!!

I'm not a big fan of this noise. I'm going to try a different valve. Anyone else hearing this from a non Forge Valve?

Try going back to stock to see if you actually notice a performance difference ... I didn't from the TurboXS I have.

The bark goes away once I put the stock valve back on. With the stock valve I still get all my boost but the power definitely lags compared to when the Forge is on.

I did not hear the bark until the inlet went on.
I too didn't hear the bark until the inlet went on. Any ideas why this is the case?

I know it's been said that the CP-E Inlet makes things quieter. I am actually noticing that the Cobb makes things quieter as well. That all changes when I am WOT but for the most part it is quieter. Anyone else notice this?

so whats the word? Is it ok for the recirc hose to press up against the bottom of the SRI silicone hose a bit? Its not a lot but it def does change the shape a little on the bottom where it touches. Thanks

Mine's running fine with the recirc hose being squished below it. I'm not sure what the alternative is.

I installed mine yesterday and have no trouble at all with cruched hoses of any kind.

All noises set aside (i don't notice anything diffrent), the performance gain is pretty good with the inlet. Don't know about any gains in H.P. but the turbo spools much faster.

Anyone know if they are all sold out. None of the websites say if they are in stock, but I heard that its sold out everywhere.

Never mind just got off the phone with Cobb and they are in stock. Thank god it's not like sri. Shipping was a rip though, when everyone else is free shipping, but I guess most sites are sold out!
