I would have to say that if you are
looking at cost and easy fitment I would go
with a SMIC. One of the biggest mods you can do
for the $$$ and time spent installing. Also if money
is a big factor I would look at the CorkSport power series exhaust.
It's not turbo back but good none the less and 1/2 the price.

I should have it by now...but noooooooo the f***ing insurance company LOST the police report that I personally picked up and took to their office so that I didnt have to wait for it to be mailed to them.....this caused the delay.......Ridiculous.....

welp... the bank wont let the insurance check pass until tues.........I might as well have not posted Im getting one for another week.....
well its a good thing that your doing research and learning more about the car ahead of time. the MSP is a touchy car at times but there is somthing about it i cant put my finger on that will make you love it. As for you modding plans it sounds good! pushing more than 9 or 10 psi with a stock motor will just leave you upset with a large mechanic bill so do the proper supporting mods and leave it around 8 for now. I have a SMIC and am very happy with it, price wise it really was only a couple hundred bucks cheaper than a FMIC but the real payoff is ease of installation. i literally had mine in and ready to go in about 15-20 mins. also getting a AFC like the splitsecond would be a wise investment, MSP's like to run rich under boost and it just gets worse as you turn it up! i put my SS AFC V2 in a couple weeks ago and wow, it makes a huge difference even if the car is mostly stock! and best of all its just plug and play!
im in the stage of my MSP's life where all the "basics" are done so if you looking for a fun and reliable DD, look at my mods and decide which ones you want and which ones you dont. im just about stuck were im at now, anything else and ill have to start tearing the block apart and i dont want to do that just yet! good luck!

I'd also recommend inspecting it before you buy, or mod it. Because the previous owner could have beat it up or didn't take care of it; then you end up with a handful of problems and an empty wallet. LOL.

So far it looks like im getting a really legit deal. He only wants 5,000. It has 95000 miles... clean title, not modded AT ALL 
. Only thing changed is the CD player and we all know why. It has a crack in windshield, which seems pretty common in this car b/c of how stiff the suspension, Just had the brakes, timing belt and tires replaced.
The only thing Im concerned with is I might need to replace the clutch. It felt fine when I test drove it, but with the mileage on it and needing to upgrade it anyway it seems like a good idea.
Also, If im going to go ahead and replace the clutch, should I just go ahead and upgrade the LSD? That's the only thing that scares me about this car is the LSD snapping.

If you do replace the clutch, replace also a Welded LSD and IMHO a Aftermarket Flywheel

IMO, the motor mounts should be one of the first mods. A new clutch and LSD won't do much if the engine is flying around under the hood. And you'll feel an immediate difference.

wow that is a pretty good deal. i sold my yellow mp3 with about 85k or so for 7200. LOL. i guess you could say i put them to sleep.(cricket)
p.s. it was bone stock.
