couple months ago i thought i had a busted motor mount and dealer told me it was a loose crossmember???Probaly should have inquired more but it was fixed and i was in A HURRY. Seems to have started again and i will start my investigation soon but has anybody experienced anything like this???(attn)

FYI, an easy way to double check the mounts, is to have someone rev the engine (in neutral of course) while you observe for movement (or simply take a flashlight and look at them one by one). But if the engine seems to move a LOT, then you probably have busted mounts. My engine was moving back and forth violently which clued me in on mine. Then when I got it looked at, 3 of my 4 mounts were shot. From what you are describing, it sounds as though your mounts could be going bad one by one. I'm hoping they didn't just put a "bandaid" on the problem knowing you'd be back to pay them more money. Know what I mean?

Engine seems to be rocking-moving under acceleration, deceleration.shifting up or down. I do drive the car hard..But have not had time to look at it. dealer has always been cool I even offered to buy the mounts and replace them while my car was there but they said there was no need. So at least i hope there not screwing me.tomorrow Ill have some body help me with looking at the mounts ..thanks.

If the engine is rocking under all of those conditions, then honestly it sounds like the mounts. Once you get a chance to look at them, let us know how they look.
And regardless of whether they are bad or not, when you do replace them, don't use stock mounts! You can get some awesome aftermarket ones that are 10x stronger and half the price (I bought all 4, only 1 was used, for just $200, when stock ones go for $100 a piece new). Just do the research to find the brand you want. Upgraded mounts are a necessity if you're gonna be pushing more power anyway.

Yea it sounds like the mounts to me. I got the AWR mounts in my car (new front and rear with inserts for the sides) for about 200. Have fun installing the rear mount. The other 3 take maybe a couple of hours to do. Even if you aren't planning on making big power you need to upgrade the mounts. The stock ones are garbage and will destroy your tranny and exhaust system in no time if you dont fix it.
