Best method - installing CAI without lift, jack stands, ramps, etc..

Spending $100+ on a CAI (and over a thousand on audio equipment) yet not spending $50 on even the cheapest PepBoys Jack/Jackstands...wow.

Nope. So there, no reason for me to own them AND further clutter up my small 1-car garage.

Yeah, that should be possible. You can access the filter by removing your driver's side front wheel and then removing the plastic screws and 2 bolts for the splash guards.

you gotta pull the engine. no other way to install a CAI

You could always install a CPE Nano or Cobb SRI. Then you could use the extra space in your engine bay to store your jack stands.
