Shift Knob?

I hate the shift knob in our cars (2008.5 MSP3). It looks good but it is real small, my hand engulfs it and makes me feel like I am driving Barbie's car (ok a bit of an exaggeration there).

I have done a lot of searching but haven't found any really cool shift knobs for our car. I would like something round and large. Cool shft knobs used to be a huge deal in the after market scene but they don't seem to be popular any more.

You guys seen any places with a good selection?

i love my stock knob, and i am huge, but honestly---TWM knobs FTW if you are looking for an aftermarket piece.

seriously, they are the best in terms of quality and selection.

btw, what's an msp3 hehe (shrug)

I like the stock shift knob, its pretty comfortable for me. And obviously, msp3 is MazdaSpeed3...don't know if your being sarcastic lol.

weird. i've never heard of an ms3 referred to as that since i've been on these forums.

msp is a mazdaspeed protege

mps is an aussie/euro designation

but yeah, never heard msp3.

your hand will freeze during winter...during summer you will burn your hand i did when touching stock shiter at hot day.....

Any one got any pictures of their aftermarket shift knobs, I want to get one but think some wouldnt look right on our speeds. Just trying to get some ideas, thanks to anyone who posts!

i like that the TWM ones fit right on
i don't like that they have no leather nor plastic ones

ideally i'd like a leather/plastic/carbonfiber illuminated one... might have to make my own tho =\

I guess I have smaller hands than some of you and actually didn't like the fact that the OEM knob was a tad too big for my tastes. But this is coming from a former Honda owner that is used to gripping the smaller shift knobs on Hondas. One of the first mods I did was the Autoexe carbon shift knob:

Looks great and the shape is decent plus it's a tad smaller than the OEM knob so it worked out for me.
