Mazda 6 with 18x9 +30mm offset wheels

Dude Kyle, you ever heard of Gravity Gullflame Wheels? If you want to do some aggressive stuff on you MS3, i think these would look sick on it. They have 2 offsets, +29 and +38. I wanna try it on the MSP:

good luck with that - a +38 will stick WAY out from the fender on an MSP

Never have been a fan of too-wide wheels with stretched tires. Just looks dumb.

If you try to run a staggered setup on a Speed6, you will break something.

ehh i dont know about that....

the cady SRX is awd & runs 2 diff size rims on it.. & its fine...

most will say as long as they are the same kind of tire.. as in radial... it should be fine...

+ from everything ive read about the speed6 it is primarily fwd & only engages awd when the front wheels start to loose grip...

you are incorrect. do not run staggered wheels on an MS6. the MS6 is front wheel biased, but it is only 100/0 at very low speeds (like 5mph). the system of the MS6 uses the following when calculating how much rear wheel drive to use:

PCM:
VSS, RPM, TP angle, neutral switch, brake pedal position, selector
lever position

DSC:
4-wheel speed sensors, parking brake switch, ABS activated, steering wheel angle, brake fluid pressure, back-up light, coupling torque request, yaw rate, and lateral G-force

Rear Differential: oil temperature

see page 34

Well, you could run staggered on the MS6, but keeping the tire ratio the same front and rear.
Like having an 18 X 8 front and rear, but two different offsets, and having same tire sizes for both front and rear.

I can even tell from the pics those will rub. (headshake

As I said in another forum,it looks terrible in my opinion and is unsafe with stretching those tires that far(fact)

Aggressive fitments aren't for the conservativists... probably why it's a big hit with more aggressive cars like the 350z, 240sx, WRXs... etc, and they've actually run real hard on really stretched tires.

IMO, I think it looks good and haven't had problems personally from my own experiences, and other friends.

I really like the look of that 6. If that it was lowered, I believe the tires will tuck just nicely as the camber will pull in, and the stance would be perfect.

welll

im still tryin to sell my mazda3 & scoop up a speed6

so when i do... ill prob just scoop up some 18x9

(drunk)

I'm running 18x8.5's with +35. No issues after rolling and camber adjusting. 9's with +38 would work prob, even +30/35 depending on the wheel style. If I sell mine, I would like to try some 18x10s with 255-35-18s.
