Corksport MM Inserts. My first Mod!

There is a little switch that will make the flashing go away but in exchange you will have a solid light come on. I prefer to switch to the solid light and do smokey burnouts in the dry weather.

Help!

Hey everyone, I am just in the middle of my install and cant seem to get the mount back in. I have tried switching the inserts around but i know i have them in correctly now. I just have one question: Can i take out these bolts to give it more space? Thanks in advance.

Removing those three bolts is the easiest way to do the install. The inserts are not reversable, there is only one way for them to fit into the stock mount. If you don't have them in correctly the mount will be hard to get back in.

Don't use a scissor jack, just unhinge the exhaust fromn those hangers near the engine, and so you can move the engine around. That helped us.

I don't like the idea of removing those three bolts. They were installed from the factory, i'd rather not touch them with the risk of them backing out. By unhinging the exhaust from their hangers at that area, it allows more room to move the engine so you can wedge the mount back in.

And I don't like the scissor jack method because I don't like the idea, lol.

Seriously, I don't enjoy the idea of wedging a jack between the engine and the frame, especially when someone made mention of positioning it between the OIL PAN? No thanks..i'm not putting that kind of pressure against my oil pan.

Not to mention, someone's going to eventually **** something up, and they're not going to enjoy explaining that to the dealership. So i'd rather leave the scissor jack method out of the equation.

When we were installing the CS inserts on my car, I was dealing with a slight knee injury so I wasn't able to get underneath the car. What we heard is, the motor mount is significantly thicker with the inserts. By unhinging the exhaust from the hangars, we were able to move the engine enough so that Matt (CWPspeed3)'s dad could slide it back into place.

Thanks for all of the responses. I took a look at the TRZ Dogbone How to before I started but that didnt help in terms of needing to know I had to take those 3 bolts out Maybe sombody should make a quick how to with this mount....

When I was searching their website the other day, they had a combo deal on two sets of inserts, I imagine the passenger side and the mm. Also they didn't list a different color.

You do not need nor do I recommend removing those 3 bolts. Leave it alone and have a friend move the engine or rock the engine.

Well When I did mine it took SERIOUSLY only 15 minutes. I took off the 3 bolts holding the mount brace and the 2 on the mount, totally easy did it by myself with no rocking of motor, just a slight pull forward to reinstall and torque the motor mount bracket bolts. So EASY.
