Ordered some stuff for her today... already.
* Full appearance package in winning blue.
* Redline MT-90 for the tranny (+ I already have Eneos GL-5 for the diff)
* MX-5 License Plate frame (Mazda accessory)
* New advanced key! (car only came with one ... $230 just for the hardware... will have to then pay dealer to cut the key blank and reprogram the car)
* GROM iPod adapter + iPhone 3G/iPod nano-chromatic charging adapter
Still thinking on what to do about suspension. Thinking Bilstein PSS10s...

That's a good question. Keep the stock 7-speaker Bose for the winter, adding an iPod integration kit soon.
The stock Bose system is 3.5" midrange (+ all high freq duties, so a non-woofer, if you will), 8 or 9" woofer in the doors, then a center speaker and two rear speakers. It has an Audiopilot and also automatically switches EQ based on whether the top is up or down.
I like the 3.5" midrange-tweeter arrangement. Since the doors are sealed, I technically should be able to get some good bass from a 6.5" or 8" woofer. However, I'm trying to keep the weight of the system down and to make it as compact as possible. So maybe Alpine PDX somewhere in there. Also, for now, I don't want to switch away from the stock radio or make anything look non-stock, to reduce chance of theft or someone ripping the soft top. *shrugs*
I'm going to see if I can avoid putting snows on the Miata. I'll drive it in above-freezing weather (to avoid ice on the roads) in the winter as much as I can, but I'll be using the P5 otherwise.
I'm already getting RX-8 says from James! The rear sway is in my car (but waiting for the front sway to install them together).
Just ordered a Good-Win Racing Roadstersport II exhaust (same as Bruce's), appearance package version. That hasn't shipped yet, so I won't have that for the OCC cruise.
The appearance package, meanwhile, is supposed to get here Friday, so I'm hoping to have it on before Saturday's cruise.
Received my Redline MT-90 fluid today, will be rocking that when I feel like getting under the car and doing the dirty work.
Noticed the clutch needs some bleeding, similar symptoms to when it needed it on my RX-8 (clutch pedal stiffer when hot and the engagement point moves).
I think I will go for Bilstein PSS10's for coilovers, just unsure when...

First- congrats on choosing the RSII.
Yes, I noticed that you locked my doors last night after listening to my exhaust, so I assume you do the same w/your new ride. With the soft top you're probably better off leaving the doors unlocked, and taking anything of value out of the cabin and locking it the trunk, or taking it with you. That way there's no reason to slash your top, and there's nothing inside of value to take anyways.
So far with 4 years of soft-top ownership I've had no problems. Now I'm going to knock on some wood to hopefully keep the trend going.

Yeah, the way I've been approaching it is that the only things that people should be able to steal from my cabin, by ripping the top or opening an unlocked door, is my owner's manual, registration and a hat. Though I have been locking the doors w/ the top down, as I have the alarm feature that makes the alarm go off if someone pops the trunk without unlocking the car with the remote. The trunk does pop anyway, but I figure that's good enough for a short stint in a store (again, nothing on display in the cabin). However, for parking in shady places (haven't had to yet), I would definitely activate that switch that blocks the trunk from being opened with anything other than a key.

Actually my doors are always unlocked. I take the stereo face plate with me, and risk the radar detector most of the time. I'll take that down if I'm in a seedy area, but 95% of the time it stays up.
There's a button in the trunk that disables the cabin release button. If you turn that on you can only open the trunk w/the metal key (not the key release button). I actually disabled the cabin trunk release button and use the key remote to pop it. Unfortunately the key trunk release doesn't work if you have the car running, but it works fine otherwise.
I wish I could have afforded the PRHT, but I couldn't, so I didn't get it.

Since the purchase, the car has acquired an appearance package, an old-school NEPOC sticker (10 more hp!), an MS Strut Tower Bar installed yesterday, and finally the RoadsterSport Exhaust installed today at Josh's garage!
I don't have pictures of either of the last two items, but here she is with the appearance package:
The RoadsterSport II exhaust is running with a baffle in one of the pipes to cut down on the decel boom. Sounds good! Not my perfect sound, but so much better than stock! There's actual exhaust sound now, not just engine sound! Hurray! When I floor it on the highway, dropping down a few gears, I can actually hear the sound over the music. The highway is not drony at all.
The MS FSTB seemed to make the car corner flatter and be less busy on the highway, but frankly I barely noticed the latter, so that could be my mind talking. It's mostly there for the bling under the hood (I got it for a good price used).
Oh, and I also installed a black shiny Voodoo Magnum knob. The feel in my hand is much better than the too-tall stock knob, though I can notice a slight increase in shifting effort due to a lower knob weight. Overall though a good mod! Though tempting to try one of those heavyweight TWM knobs.
