Yeah, I am guessing they will probably charge a hundred bucks or so for it. Thats really the only way it becomes worth it. By the looks of it it should have most if not all of the scanning capabilities of the MSD dashhawk which is an awesome unit...but not wireless...

I tried ot find the OBD II Wireless scan unit but to no avail. Pretty sure it will be of their own design.

For the new guy with the Iphone check out the Dynolicious its in the app store and pretty handy. This software also works with the ITouch...

Oh geez did I just admit to that...?

Its essentially a tiny laptop...so what shouldnt it be able to do?

We are only limited by our own creativity...
 
yeah the google phone will probably be pretty cool, but the interface on the iphone still gets me every day and I have owned it for six months now...

Have you had an iPhone, or are you one of those "OMG I EPHING HATE APPLE BECAUSE IT IS COOL TO HATE APPLE" people. Right failed no open source, everything has to be ran through the apple filter before it is released bla bla bla. The fact is this IS the best phone on the market for the audience it was made for.

google phone is not out yet but......I think iphone is pretty cool I just refuse to pay $600 (price without contract) for a 3G phone. And honestly I hate the fact that to play games you gotta move ur phone around.

And I simply dont like mac for stupid designs like MAC book air, and all of their expensive s***.

The bottom line is, Apple has even more of a closed source and proprietary nature than Microsoft, and I choose not support it. Oh and the IPhone is ridiculously expensive. Sorry for the thread jack, carry on. Post some screen shots if you can.
 
I think the iphone is an awesome device but I can't stand apple. The snobbish arrogance that emanates from Steve Jobs all the way down to that annoying "I'm a mac" guy. And the fact that their mac vs PC commercials are so misleading and well...ugh. I'm glad microsoft fired back with the (non crappy Jerry Seinfeld) I'm a PC commercials.

My prof. once told me that real graphic designers only use macs. I promptly went, built a PC and proved him wrong.

I don't hate macs, I just can't stand them.

But I love some of the iphone apps like dynolicious though. C'mon microsoft, I love what you've done with the Zune, just give it an accelerometer and I'll be set!

correct on all accounts, but with a contract 199 for an 8gig or 299 for a 16gig with the capability of GPS/3G internet/Camera/Fully functional Ipod. I think that is a damn good price. If and when a comparable open source phone is released, I will be the first one in line.

True....and I can watch movies in extremely good quality...play awesome games that include the accelerometer (read: Audi Driving Game)..

Also Apple just tookback some of the restrictions they were placing on third party developers and the NDA now does nt prevent them from talking to one another about possible applications...

5 millions iphones sold?

I love how macs are the "trendy" thing for college kids these days. In my Operating Systems class when I was a sophmore, we all had projects to do at the end of the semester, and somebody did "What do you love about your Mac/Why did you get one?" video interviews of like 20 kids. The responses were great. Most were like "because its friendly" or "because of the cool design". (laugh) No one had a legitimate response.

(cheers) Cheers to that. Give me any Mac, and I'll build a PC for HALF the price and it will still kick its ass in any Photoshop or video editing app!

I'll be right behind you dude. And don't worry, its coming, give it some time. Have you heard about Google's patent on the idea about getting rid of cell contracts? Crossing fingers...
