HKS recirc fitting

I'm having fitment issues with the recric fitting. I can't see to get it through the opening on the bov cover. Is there anyone else who had this problem and have to trim/sand down the fitting, or did you get a replacement from the suppliers?

who did u get the HKS SSQV from. was it a kit or did you order each piece seperately?

I really don't want to tranish anyone's name, so I'll keep it disclosed at this time. However the HKS ssqv was bought as a kit and I'm not sure if the special edition black ones have problems with this but it seems like I'm not only person with this problem.

You mean the recirc fitting? Have you tried snap ring pliers?

I assume you bought the CP-E kit.

its a tight fitting i have been running the hks for the last 9000 miles and have had it on and off about 20 times. its just a tight fit use a nice flat tip screw driver to round the hose and then push it on. no biggy i will be in va next week if you really need help i can come by and do it for you no biggy

Hmmmmmmmm I don't think I'm explaining myself too good, I'll try and get some pics to show what I mean.

I have the Black limited, 3rd owner of it haha, but everything looks/fits/functions very nicely.

You do know thought right that there are 8 bolts on the front face but only 4 of them remove the front fitting you need to remove to change from recirc to vta and vice versa.

from re-reading your post I think I see what you're saying... can't say I know how to help you there mine was already assembled when I recieved it.
